Rue-Lynx, the new up and coming band rocked the Roxy on Friday night. Despite major audio problems, David Hiller (John Bohnam reincarnate) the band’s drummer takes the wrap as an awkward silence ensues the crowd. He breaks out and does one of the greatest rock drum solos of all time. Destroying the stage by improv, the stage was his drum kit….

Axe corporation sets society on fire
When you go to the supermarket, do yo know what’s in the products that you buy? Well, Im sure you don’d this same concept applies to axe bodyspray, the heavily marketed “deodorant equivalent”.
I’m sure the consumer fails to implent their good sense and read the fucking label. In their commercials they reach the super-egos of men and woman on a sub-conscious level. They advertise that if you use their product you will have the opposite sex burn with sexual desire for you. This burning is far different from the sexual stigma it proposes. Axe is highly flamable. Seriously, if you hold up a match or lighter to it, you can make a flame torch. I don’t know about you, but spraying scented, flammable chemicals all over myself doesn’t
seem that appealing. Imagine someone spraying it all over their body and then somehow generating static electricity from their clothing and spontaneously combusting. If I saw it, I would laugh. The joke’s on him, not only do a lot of people find the scent of axe repulsive, but the freaking guy is on fire!! Shit man!! I’m on fire!! Ill sue them!! Sure go ahead and try to sue, nothing will happen. After all, it is the consumer’s ‘response-ability’ to read the label. responsibility (the ability to respond properly)

So I’m here at the smodcastle in this small little venue in hollywood. I’m kind of stoked to see kevin smith shoot the shit. That’s actually the title of the autographed book I bought for 15 bucks. I also bought a boxed water. Fucking brilliant. Read later for updated info for the podcast and a link with the summary.
This is the first day of my summer job. Hopefully I’ll have a good time and meet some cool people.
I was on the metro headed for a dinner thing. I get onto the bus. Sport-jacket and jeans carrying my mac laptop case. Only standing room. People sit on the outside seat, clearly selfishly declaring both seats their own. I guess I understand, one seat is hardly big enough for one person.
We started talking about music and this was the name of a song he said that he wrote.
“Happiness from Solace”
Solace is sweet reprieve. Solace is aloneness and sadness. Solace is finding the essence of your soul. Solace is not having another person present. To find happiness from such desolation must be difficult. It is possible. But, it has its price.
So we got to talking and this is part of a future song lyric of his:
“You can fall asleep on your hand but its still not someone elses”. –
I dont know his name- nor do I ever think Ill ever run into such a person again
That is all-

Yaesterday, I took upon myself to visit ‘Urban Outfitters’ and came upon a realization. Independent culture was now being mass produced. Lets say one were to disillusion themselves into thinking that looking a certain way or doing certain things would make them “different”, then they clearly do not wish to be different; rather another by-product of propagandized consumerism.
Hypothetically, lets say a trend starts from what I create, I would be honored that people would buy the bullshit I put out there, but I would realize that anyone following my mantra, someone accepting my manifesto as their own would become those involved in yet another cycle of heterodoxy to orthodoxy or vice versa
It takes a leader to start something new. If a leader’s responsibility is to embody such an ideology and in turn the follower, then so be it.
